In the 2020 anforcom data mining competition organized by Universitas Dipenogoro Semarang, Depilkom UPI successfully sent three teams to the final stage in the data mining competition. The teams that made it to the final round included the DM_UPI team consisting of Yuliansyah Ibrahim S and Khamal Fauzan S, and then the team named [Nama Team] consisting of Wibi Putra Perdana S, Riviawati Putri Giovani and Ade Prianto, and the last one was the edc-team consisting of Non Alyya Yan Hari and Puput Yuniar Maulida.

This competition begins with a preliminary round on September 13 to 20 2020, in this preliminary round the participants are given a dataset then asked to analyze the data and make a model regarding the classification of the data, and the participants are also asked to make a paper on the analysis that has been they do.

After the preliminary round ends and the finalists have been announced, then the final round is held on October 10, 2020. In this final round the finalists are asked to work on questions about classification within 5 hours, besides that the finalists are also asked to make a video presentation on the analysis they do. On October 17, 2020, a video presentation and question and answer stage was held for the finalists of this data mining competition. At this stage each participant is given 10 minutes to display the video they have made and 5 minutes for a question and answer session.

However, even though Depilkom UPI managed to send three teams to the final stage in the Anforcom 2020 data mining competition, no team was given the opportunity to lift the trophy in this competition. However, it is hoped that this will not discourage the participants and all other students from participating in the competition, but rather arouse the enthusiasm of students to achieve achievements in other competitions.
