M. Octavianus Pratama, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Bisa AI was one of the speakers at Dinamik 15 National Seminar on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The material presented was entitled “Artificial Intelligence as a Masterpiece of Techno Innovation”.
Currently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the most widely used and developed technological innovations by industry. Many think that AI is limited to the development of a robot, but the fact is bigger than that. AI can be used for detection in healthcare, market prediction, IT services and security, and energy and cost saving.
The technology that is the builder or subset of AI is machine learning and deep learning, and it intersects with data science. To start learning this AI can be built by mastering programming skills. There are various kinds of cases that can be done with simple programming to understand AI. The important point is to explore first before having great ideas related to AI.
In Indonesia now, there are already several big startups in the AI world, some of which are Bisa. AI which is an AI learning platform and also webinars, and Prose. AI which uses AI technology in the form of text analysis and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
Octavianus advised that in building startups in the AI field, we shouldn’t be discouraged no matter how much we fail. This can be due to the absence of the right investors, or moments that are not right. The best effort we can do is to start now to continue exploring and finding creative ideas.
