Another brilliant achievement was achieved by Computer Science students, namely winning a gold medal at the XVII Church Choir Festival (PESPARAWI) event organized by the Indonesian Talent Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology which took place at Soegijapranata Catholic University, from 5 to 8 November 2022.

In this prestigious event which was attended by hundreds of ecclesiastical choirs from all universities in Indonesia, Computer Science student, Ayurika Sinambela who is a member of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia’s Choir Student Activity Unit won the Gold category award with a score of 82.60.

The Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Choir Student Activity Unit that took part in PESPARAWI XVII consisted of several students from various study programs. They succeeded in presenting works of ecclesiastical music which amazed the judges and the audience.

This success must be balanced with careful preparation and hard work over the past few months as well as good cooperation between choir members so that they can bring satisfactory results.

The University is also proud of the achievements achieved by these students. The Computer Science Education Department is no exception, which also gives appreciation to one of its students for their contribution to the success of achievements at PESPARAWI XVII.

This achievement is a proud achievement for the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Hopefully, this achievement can motivate other students of the Computer Science Education Department to continue to excel in various fields, not only limited to the scope of IT, so they can continue to fight for the good name of their alma mater.
