The Computer Science Education Department Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) once again made a collaborative visit to improve performance and achievements. This time, the Computer Science Education Department held a collaborative visit to the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) within the realm of Higher Education Tridharma consisting of the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program, the Information Technology Study Program, and the Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education Study Program (S- 2) on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Taking place at the UNY Faculty of Engineering, representatives from both universities held a thorough discussion regarding plans for cooperation that could be carried out by the UPI Computer Science Education Department and the UNY Faculty of Engineering. Lecturer representatives from the Computer Science Education Department who attended the meeting were Dr. Wahyudin, M.T., Lala Septem Riza, M.T., Ph.D., and Eki Nugraha, S.Pd., M.Kom.

The activity began with presentations from both parties explaining their respective profiles, work programs and vision also mission. Furthermore, there was discussion regarding the scope of cooperation including activities to achieve the Tridharma of Higher Education which consists of Education, Research, and Service. “Hopefully the cooperation carried out by the two tertiary institutions under the computer-based Study Program from both the UPI Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education Faculty and the UNY Faculty of Engineering can run sustainably and can increase the Main Performance Index (IKU) of Higher Education.” said Dr. Wahyudin, M.T. regarding his expectations.
This collaboration is an effort by both institution to be able to improve the academic quality of each tertiary institution in order to support the increase in the Main Performance Index and the achievement of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
