One point that the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia campus pays attention to is the achievements of students from various competitions, including Gemastik which is an arena for students to compete or deliver creation at the national level which is associated with information technology. Participants in Gemastik do not have to be in one study program, but are active students enrolled in one university. To invite students to achieve achievements in Gemastik XIV (2021), Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia held a Gemastik Socialization which was held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 13.00.

This event was held by the Directorate of Student Affairs, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Ditmawa). The Gemastik socialization was opened with remarks from Prof. Dr. H. Suwatno, M.Si as Director of the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa) and then continued with remarks and motivation from Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A as the Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Affairs at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The next session continued with material presentations from two speakers, namely

1. Dana S. Kusumo, S.T., M.T., PhD, IPM, CPC, User Experience Design Division Coordinator Jury of the Gemastik XII (2019) and Gemastik XII (2020) from Telkom University (Tel-U)

2. Rosa Ariani Sukamto, M.T., Jury of the Programming Division of Gemastik XII (2019) and Gemastik XIII (2020) from the Computer Science Study Program, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia

The participants of this event were representatives from the Regional Campus as well as representatives from the Faculties at the Bumi Siliwangi Campus, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia and the students who had an interest in participating in the competitions at Gemastik XIV. Hopefully,  this socialization event will encourage many students of the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia who can achieve achievements from Gemastik XIV.
