Starting from the change in the number of SKS for each course, compulsory courses that must be taken, several new courses, changes in the old course, and also the package system in the chosen course.

Changing the 2013 curriculum to the 2018 curriculum is a step taken by the Department of Computer Science Education to form a flexible curriculum that can adapt to new sciences or new technologies that are developing during the 4.0 industrial revolution at this time. Because the 2013 curriculum is considered quite rigid and difficult to adjust if there is new technology/science that is actually important to convey to every student of the Department of Computer Science Education.

>With the implementation of the 2018 curriculum socialization activity, it is expected that students, especially students of the Department of Computer Science Education, are able to prepare themselves to face the changes in the new 2018 curriculum and also face competition in the field of information technology in the industrial revolution era 4.0.
